The pink pineapple effect:

A campaign to disrupt the suburban real estate market.

To sell an aspirational suburban lifestyle before a single brick was laid, we threw out the traditional real estate playbook and designed a high-octane, design-forward digital campaign that prioritized imagination over inventory.

Facing a target audience fiercely skeptical of cookie-cutter suburban developments, we treated the launch of RT Urban Homes like an exclusive urban brand drop, selling a vibe, an aesthetic, and a completely new way of living months before a model home or sales center existed.

Our creative strategy leaned hard into bold, unexpected visuals to pierce through the digital noise. Anchored by our provocative tagline, “We put the urban in suburban,” we introduced striking, unconventional imagery—like our signature pink pineapple—to visually signal that this wasn’t their parents’ suburbia.

Pre-launch teaser campaign ignited interest.

Rather than relying on standard real estate marketing, we kicked off with a cinematic, high-energy teaser video and a stylized social media ecosystem to spark curiosity and build rapid momentum.

Interactive design quizzes engaged potential buyers.

We further disrupted the market by flipping the script on lead generation. Traditional real estate websites ask for a buyer’s budget, but we designed an interactive, custom landing page centered around a “style quiz.”

This allowed design-conscious buyers to curatively map themselves into the brand’s modern aesthetic, transforming standard floor plans, interior style choices, and the homebuying process into a personalized lifestyle discovery.

Continuous digital content built brand awareness.

We maintained this momentum through a continuous digital content engine of curated blog posts, editorial emails, and sharp social content that educated the market on what made RT Urban completely unique. By treating a “bricks and mortar” launch with the agility and edge of a boutique design agency, we successfully captured a highly skeptical demographic.

Exclusive event promotion created desire.

By the time the doors to the physical Sales Center finally unlocked, our digital-first campaign had created market desire, delivering a robust waitlist of pre-qualified buyers eager to claim their piece of the brand.
